Little Pumpkin and Trunk or Treating

10-30
Hattie is snuggling with Alanna. Oh, sisters! So fun!

The pumpkin snack bags that the big girls helped me put together; they dumped the stuff in the bowl and Alanna helped put stickers on the labels and glue the white message to the construction paper. Easy! The snack mix is Life cereal, Bugles, pretzel sticks, pumpkin marshmallows, mallocreme pumpkins, candy corn. No sauce, just the plain things. I thought it was cute enough!

Oh my. Doesn't Molly look so much bigger and older here compared to her tiny baby sis?

Thumbs up, Molly Girl!! I think she approves of Hattie.

We went to a trunk or treat event at St. Paul's Lutheran church and school on Friday night. It was not raining so we went for it! The kids were excited to put their costumes on for a trial run. Charlie had his policeman costume on earlier in the day for his party at school, too.
Alanna wanted to be Elsa, and I got her costume at Costco. We did the full Elsa braid on Halloween to complete her costume. So pretty!

Charlie in his policeman uniform. It's safe to say that he helped give policemen everywhere some good PR by being this cute and flashing his handsome smile. No, he didn't take down anyone or use excessive force when trick or treating.

Aaaaaand look at Molly in her cupcake costume! She wore it like a trooper and didn't pull the hat off at all. It's all fleece and really comfy. This costume will definitely be making another appearance next Halloween when Hattie wears it!

A successful picture of all three costumed kiddos!

Charlie and Alanna decorated a cookie at the church.

And the finished product! Unfortunately, Alanna took one step over to the table and dumped her cookie on the floor so she had to start over again. The girl.next to.Alanna is a classmate of Charlie's. Her name is Audrey and I know her mom through the MOPS type group I attend. Brittany, her mom, picked up Charlie for school on the day Hattie was born. Super nice friends!

Assessing and eating a few pieces of candy before bed by the light of their jack-o-lanterns.
