Mountain View had their annual Fiesta in early December. It's a chili cook-off where you can buy bowls to eat along with a bunch of carnival games set up in the gym. The elementary grades perform songs in Spanish intermittently throughout the evening. Alanna's class sang Five Little Monkeys and had to wear pajamas for their performance. Charlie's class sang a song about parts of the body and had to wear bright colors. Both of the kids knew all of the words and actions! We did the performances and games for a short time before calling it a night.
