On Labor day, we put the kids to work picking corn. Fitting, right? The kids helped us pick 18-20 cobs just for eating. Matt hadn't been to Lehne farm yet so we all piled in the van for some good ol' corn-picking fun! :)
Later that afternoon, Matt took Charlie and Alanna to the Umpqua river to play and hike for a bit. They spent a few hours playing with some frogs in the river and exploring while Molly and I had a restful afternoon. It was a nice way to end the three-day weekend! Back to work and school the next day...
