Toketee Falls

9-6
On the Sunday of Labor Day weekend, we took a day trip out to Crater Lake National Park. It's about a 2-hour drive from our house so we planned to make a stop or two on the way there and back. Our stop on the way there was at Toketee Falls. It's a 1/2 mile hike to a spot overlooking the falls. It's pretty kid-friendly and it was a beautiful day outside. Molly actually walked quite a bit of the way to the falls; Matt carried her for only a few short stretches. Naturally, her little legs dictated the speed for our family, but I'm not going to lie - my pregnant state also played a role in our slow and steady speed. :) The falls are an 80-foot waterfall though it looks less impressive in the pictures. We spent nearly an hour and a half hiking, exploring, and taking pictures before continuing our journey to Crater Lake.

Molly's perched on my growing "bench"!
