Melty Beads

I have recently discovered the Downton Abbey theme on Pinterest and have been playing it on the piano. Whenever the lid is cracked and my fingers hit the keys, the kids come scampering over! Molly is so sweet with her pudgy little indented-knuckled hands grasping at the keys as if her life depends on it. Actually, her balance depends on it as she is often holding on to the keys for balance  trying to play at the same time.

Today's activity: melty beads!! Charlie and Alanna spent nearly 90 minutes working on their creations. I helped Alanna put together her pink man and the A on her badge. She did the rest! Charlie worked so hard on his cement truck, copying what he saw from the melty bead box. It turned out great!

Remember a previous post about Alanna and the whipped cream?! She loves making coffee with Daddy for this very reason!
