YoungLives Camp

July 13-16
Debbie and I had the privilege of taking four girls and three babies to YoungLives camp this supper at TimberLine Lodge in Fraser, CO. It, as always, is such an adventure. Those babies add such an interesting dimension to camp! Hello, no sleep. The babies actually did pretty well, possibly because they were between 18 months and 2 years old.
Back row from left: Melani holding Adalynn, Dallas, Drea (Nyla was at child care already), Julie
Front row: Liam, Paige, and Debbie
One of the activities while we were at camp was going to the adventure park at the base of the ski resort in Winter Park. We had so much fun!! We got to do the alpine slide, the maze, the trampolines, and ride a few different chair lifts up the mountain. One of the girls was TERRIFIED of the chair lift so that was interesting. :)
Look at Melani's brave face! (She's next to me.)
While we were at the top of the mountain, we did an activity where we chose one word that we felt like the Lord was putting in our hearts. We wrote them on our arms as a sweet reminder. It was a beautiful time together. I'm constantly amazed at what the Lord does in these girls and I have the gift of being in the front row to watch it all unfold.
