Matt and two of his friends, Shawn Dieckman and Jacob Blackwell, planned a backpacking trip over Labor day weekend. I don't remember where they went, but I know for certain that they had a blast together. Jacob struggled with his knees quite a bit, but he made it. I seem to recall that they hiked a fourteener while out as well? They left early on Saturday morning and made it home super late on Sunday evening. Originally, Matt planned to stay out for two nights but with Jacob's knees, I think they all decided it was time to hike out and head home.
